Resident Evil 6 : Review

The Good

  • Intriguing narrative structure   
  • Great voice acting and action-packed cutscenes draw you into the story.

The Bad

With Resident Evil 6, a once-mighty series makes another stumble. From a production standpoint, this atmospheric third-person shooter (this is no survival horror game, certainly) hits a number of high notes, weaving multiple stories into a single narrative that you untangle from different perspectives. It's unfortunate that actually interacting with Resident Evil 6 is an excruciating chore. This is a wannabe action film that resents your interference, and punishes you by forcing one horrible quick-time event after another upon you.








That Resident Evil 6 wants to be a movie is evident in almost every facet of its gameplay. Plenty of games dramatize their events through extended cutscenes, Metal Gear Solid being an oft-cited example of a series known for long-winded cinematics. Having many cutscenes isn't a problem in and of itself; constantly interrupting the flow of gameplay, on the other hand, is Resident Evil 6's disappointing calling card.
In a typical five-minute stretch, you might watch a cutscene, walk for five seconds, trigger another cutscene, open a door, perform a quick-time event, view another cutscene, shoot some mutated freaks, and then do nothing while you wait for your co-op partner to finish some task or another before you can continue on. All through that stretch, the camera changes position countless times, you're forced to walk really slowly for a while, and an almost-unavoidable scripted "gotcha" moment gifts you with a game-over screen ("You Are Dead"), forcing you to replay the sequence while wondering what you could have done to prevent it.
These problems infiltrate all four of Resident Evil 6's campaigns, though each campaign shifts its focus and tone--and all but Ada Wong's puzzle-driven campaign (unlocked when you have finished the other three) feature cooperative play. In Leon Kennedy's campaign, you play as either Leon or newcomer Helena Harper, while your cohort is left to the care of another player, or of the AI. Leon's campaign is the most traditional, recalling the fourth and fifth chapters of the series by way of mysterious locations like an eerie graveyard and creep-strewn city streets. In a campaign that looks to military shooters for inspiration, Chris Redfield joins fellow BSAA operative Piers Nivens in war-torn streets to shoot up infected foes and larger-than-life bosses. Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin's campaign is focused more on scripted events than the others and lacks the thematic cohesion of the other three (unless you count an overload of contextual button prompts as a theme). A short prelude introduces you to the basic mechanics, which are mostly identical across the campaigns. It also functions as a warning of what's to come.
Right off the bat, you notice what is to be a common theme in Resident Evil 6: quick-time events are prominent to the point of distraction. Keep your thumbs limber and your trigger fingers ready, for you will be hammering buttons and jiggling thumbsticks ad nauseam. Wiggle that stick to get the monster off you! Furiously tap that button to crawl faster! Making matters worse is that the quick-time events aren't even that well implemented. Some of them require superhuman wiggling speeds; others, like those that require alternating trigger presses, don't have a clear rhythm. And succeeding means triggering a sonic zing and a bright circular eruption that distract you from the dramatic animations.
Even ignoring quick-time events, button prompts are the rule rather than the exception. Capcom drops in so many set piece moments that they lose their luster. Good set pieces--that is, large scale events with major visual punch and limited interactivity--punctuate gameplay, rather than replace it. Here, they constantly disrupt the gameplay, and a few types of set pieces emerge as clear developer favorites. One such type is the "run toward the camera" bit, in which you hold a button to sprint toward the camera, and press buttons to leap over obstacles or slide under them. It takes a special talent to make such sequences work, but no such talent is demonstrated here; the camera constantly changes position, which destroys the flow of both the controls and the visuals.
Resident Evil 6 is constantly (and annoyingly) playing with camera angles, even outside of the running sections. The worst moments are those that yank control from you and force you to stare at a growling behemoth's dramatic entrance, or a helicopter's flyover, even when you're in the middle of a quick-time event, or engaged in a shoot-out. Smart games either have you hold a button if you want to witness a major incident, or simply allow the incident to happen. Resident Evil 6 is not a smart game. It doesn't care what you're doing: that monster is big, and the game forces the bigness upon you. (And when the sequence is done, the camera may not be in the position in which it started.) Such occurrences are, every time, detrimental to gameplay, and it's shocking how many of them there are.
Not that your co-op partner is usually harmful to the experience. If you play on your own, the AI does a great job of knowing what to do and where to go. The game does have a few good co-op ideas up its sleeve, such as a sequence in which one player swims from the snapping jaws of a finned fiend, and the other must shoot it. But the good ideas are too often let down by troublesome execution: in that same sequence, your mission objective might contradict what the game actually needs you to do. Other times, one player waits around with nothing to do, while the other slashes up bio-organic weapons (that is, B.O.W.s) and finally opens a door or lowers a ladder. Most cooperative actions simply involve opening a door together. And boy is there a lot of door opening in Resident Evil 6
n between the frequent set pieces, the quick-time events, and the cooperative door kickings, there is some mutant killing. The core mechanics are similar to those in other third-person shooters, but with the idiosyncrasies that defined Resident Evils 4 and 5. The camera stays close behind your back, movements like leaping and crouching are contextual rather than freely available, and the pace is deliberate. Shooting grotesqueries often results in new mutations: bulbous growths sprout from the necks of advancing fiends, and disgusting diminutive creatures spawn from their hosts and skitter along the floor. You can also kick and pummel your foes, though whether you prefer to keep your distance or get right in there, the lumbering lunatics react properly, knocking over other infected as they lurch from the power of your shotgun blasts. If you find the deliberate action appealing, you can devote some time to the returning Mercenaries mode, in which you and a buddy (or you alone) off as many enemies as you can before the clock ticks down to zero.
It's unfortunate that Resident Evil 6's campaigns want so desperately to take you out of the action. A single bullet from a sniper can knock you to the ground; you can either get to your feet and reposition yourself, or just shoot while you're down until the right time to rise presents itself. In Jake's campaign, getting knocked down on a particularly icy slope means sliding all the way to the bottom, and having to make the climb again. As is typical for Capcom action games, long animations need to finish before you regain control--and that kind of approach could have worked fine in a game that sticks closely to the Resident Evil 4 template.
But Resident Evil 6 is focused less on building tension than any previous game in the main series, and the over-deliberate mechanics don't always mesh well with the action-game sensibilities and highly linear levels. The claustrophobic behind-the-back camera in cramped hallways, the knockback loops, the cumbersome method of combining herbs and healing yourself--these facets once worked well to help instill a sense of terror and make you consider every action and every step. In Resident Evil 6, a game that mostly leaves its survival horror roots behind, the same attributes hinder your enjoyment.
That isn't to say that Resident Evil 6 is hard. On medium difficulty, you can often run right past the baddies, or just spam a trigger and punch them to death. You needn't worry about ammo all that often; the only time you're likely to run out is when you face a bullet-sponge boss and there's no more ammo to be had in the battle arena. But while you won't often die due to the level of challenge (unless you crank up the difficulty, of course), you might not be able to escape a few of the game's "gotcha" deaths. With little warning, a vehicle might crash through a barricade, and if you happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, you're dead. When an avalanche occurs, if you don't know to expect it, you might not have enough room to veer your snowmobile away. (This is one of several mediocre vehicular segments.) That's not challenging: that's cheap, and it's bad game design.
While Resident Evil 6 is no survival horror game, it does have a few memorably tense moments. In Leon's campaign, flashes of lightning in a dark cemetery might have you jumping once or twice, and the appearance of Resident Evil's famous zombie dogs will have you reliving the franchise's good old days. The visit to an old cathedral that follows is similarly evocative, considering its roots in the series' past. Where the game most impresses is in its production values, particularly in sound and narrative. Each campaign tells a different story--but those four stories overlap in interesting ways before they diverge again. You need to play the unlockable campaign to make sense of every mystery, but this is a great way to learn tall tales of the latest global threat.
Grand voice acting gives the melodramatic story plenty of weight. The talented cast makes every sullen regret, every cry for help, and every enthusiastic encouragement ring true, even in the midst of the most fantastical of events. The gross, squishy sound effects are so potent that you might try to wipe imaginary goo from your clothes. The cutscenes deserve special mention. A slow-motion shot of a bus's interior, a character's shocking fall from a great height, and a tense standoff between allies are but a few examples of the excellent cinematics that drive the story onward.
But how far can cinematics get you when the gameplay sandwiched between them is so poorly paced, so utterly misconceived, so reliant on stick wriggles and button tapping? There's a place for contextual prompts and cinematic storytelling in video games, but Resident Evil 6 is a mishmash of elements put together without any sense of care or direction. Series faithful might stumble through for the sake of story, and perhaps to appreciate those few moments that recall when Resident Evil was at its peak glory. But this long, poor sequel is the ultimate test of patience for even the most dedicated.

2. SEL TUMBUHAN

Sel tumbuhan merupakan  bagian terkecil dari setiap organ tumbuhan. Sel tumbuhan adalah penggerak dari suatu tumbuhan itu sendiri. Sel tumbuhan cukup berbeda dengan sel organisme eukariotik lainnya. Fitur-fitur berbeda tersebut meliputi:
Vakuola yang besar (dikelilingi membran, disebut tonoplas, yang menjaga turgor sel dan mengontrol pergerakan molekul di antara sitosol dan getah.
Dinding sel yang tersusun atas selulosa dan protein, dalam banyak kasus lignin, dan disimpan oleh protoplasma di luar membran sel. Ini berbeda dengan dinding sel fungi, yang dibuat dari kitin, dan prokariotik, yang dibuat dari peptidoglikan.

Kolenkim adalah jaringan hidup, erat hubungannya dengan parenkim, dan terspesialisasi sebagai penyokong dalam organ yang muda. Bentuk sel berkisar antara bentuk prisma hingga bentuk memanjang. Sel-sel kolenkim memiliki dinding primer yang lebih tebal dibandingkan sel-sel parenkim. Dinding tidak menebal secara merata dan itu merupakan ciri khasnya. Sel-sel parenkim tidak memiliki dinding sekunder dan lignin.
Sel sklerenkim
Sel sklerenkim membentuk kumpulan sel yang berkesinambungan atau berupa berkas yang ramping. Selain itu, sklerenkim juga terdapat tersendiri di antara sel-sel lain. Sklerenkim dapat berkembang dalam tubuh tumbuhan primer ataupun sekunder. Dindingnya tebal, sekunder dan sering berlignin, dan pada saat dewasa protoplasnya bisa hilang.
Jaringan sklerenkim juga termasuk tipe jaringan permanen sederhana. Ada dua tipe sel pada jaringan ini, yaitu, serabut dan sklereida. Kedua macam sel tersebut berdinding sangat tebal yang mengandung selulosa dan lignin yang disekresikan oleh protoplas sel-sel itu. Protoplas mati apabila dinding mencapai tebal maksimumnya. Serabut adalah sel-sel yang sangat panjang dengan ujung sel lancip. Serabut memiliki kekuatan dan fleksibilitas yang besar. Karena kekuatan serta kelenturannya maka sel-sel ini digunakan orang dalam pembuatan lilitan, tali, tikar dan berbagai tekstil. Sklereida seperti serabut berdinding tebal dan keras, namun sel sklereida pendek dan tidak sepanjang serabut. Sklerida dapat ditemukan misalnya pada buah apel, sklereida membangun bagian penting pepagan pohon.

PS 4 VS XBOX 720

PS4 vs Xbox 720: which is better?


It's been a long time coming, but specs for both of the major next-gen games consoles, the Sony PS4 and the Xbox 720, have been leaked. And they're both based on pure AMD technology.
Before we deep dive into the details, is the leaked information accurate? One can never be sure. But the signs are good.
First, it checks out in terms of plausibility. The hardware is based on known and realistic tech. The information is detailed, particularly that revealed by vgleaks.com a few days ago. And it makes sense.

Secrets from CES

The timing ties in with lots of opportunities for leaks at CES and there's little doubt discussions will have been taking place behind closed doors. What's more, similar information has appeared from several sources, which is usually a good omen. On, then, to the meaty details.
The next Xbox is codenamed Durango, while the PS4 is known internally at Sony as Orbis. Both will be powered by chips based on AMD's upcoming Jaguar CPU architecture and offer AMD's Radeon GCN graphics technology.
What's more, the CPUs in both Durango and Orbis will be clocked at 1.6GHz and both will pack eight processing cores. Where the two appear to differ however, is in the graphics engine.

AMD's Graphics Core Next

Sony PS4 Orbis gets 18 Radeon GCN units. Microsoft Xbox Durango makes do with just 12. Elsewhere, Durango will have 8GB of shared DDR3 RAM along with 32MB of superfast ERAM for the GPU and a grand total of 170GB/s of bandwidth.
The PS4, meanwhile, will sport just 4GB of RAM, but it will be of the ultra-quick GDDR5 variety. All told, it's thought Durango will pack a grand total of 1.23 teraflops of raw compute power to Orbis's 1.84 teraflops. Oh, and both are expected to have Blu-ray drives.
On paper, then, and if the leaks are accurate, the next Xbox seems to be clearly outgunned by Sony's new PlayStation. But is that really the case? And what can we really expect from these two consoles in terms of a gaming experience?

Those eight-core CPUs in full

First up, let's deal with those apparently identical eight-core CPUs. Jaguar is AMD's next low-power, low-cost CPU architecture. Per core, it's less powerful than AMD's full-feature Piledriver architecture as found in both the FX desktop chips and A10 fusion processors.
Problem is, even Piledriver is marginal in terms of per-core performance for gaming. So the prospect of Jaguar cores clocked at just 1.6GHz is certainly the biggest worry concerning the performance of both consoles.
Yes, both offer eight cores. But the simple fact is that, to date, game developers haven't really cracked the problem of spreading game-engine work loads across many cores. Having individual cores that can process a single thread super fast still matters.
That's why, just as a for instance, Intel's quad-core, quad-thread Core i5-3570K is a faster gaming CPU than AMD's eight-core FX-8350.

PS4 vs Xbox 720 vs Wii U

Admittedly, game consoles have lower operating system overheads. They're also easier to develop for thanks to a fixed target to aim at in terms of hardware specs. But we'd still prefer to trade core count for a more powerful underlying architecture.
If you're wondering how all that compares with the Wii U, well, Nintendo's latest has a triple-core IBM PowerPC processor running at 1.24GHz. That sounds bad given that even the 8-year old Xbox 360 has three PowerPC cores running at 3.2GHz.
But the Wii U's CPU is a relatively complex in-order design. Overall, we suspect the performance of the Wii U's CPU will be similar to Durango and Orbis on a per core basis, it's just that it has fewer than half the number of cores.
As for the graphics half of the equation, we can make direct comparisons with PC hardware again. Each of AMD's Radeon GCN (or Graphics Core Next) compute units packs 64 shader cores. So we're talking 1,152 shaders for PS4 and 768 for Xbox 720.

PC power

AMD's fastest current PC graphics chip, the might Radeon HD 7970, packs 2,048 cores. So even assuming everything else is equal, including clockspeeds and memory bandwidth, Sony Orbis will deliver roughly half the raw graphics grunt of a top end PC.
Again, lower operating system overheads and superior software optimisation usually allow consoles to close the gap. But there's little doubting the next brace of games consoles fall well short of the best performing current PCs, much less hardware that will be available in six month's time.
Arguably, it's not how the consoles compare to PCs that matters, but how much they change the game compared to previous consoles and how they compare to each other.
On the first point, both will be a huge step forward. And in many ways, that will be mostly down to a massive increase in memory. Xbox 360 and PS3 have just 512MB of memory and it's a limitation that games devs are beginning to despair of.
The new consoles will be very liberating in that regard and the result will be games with huge, open and seamless environments, the likes of which have never been seen before. That'll be good news for PC gamers, too, since consoles provide a baseline for game development.

Get out your guns

As for comparative performance between the new big console guns and also compared to the Wii U, we won't know for sure until we have hardware in our hands. Both are likely to have much more powerful graphics than the Wii U.
But we reckon Sony Orbis's performance advantage in the graphics department will prove mostly theoretical. That's because the performance of those AMD Jaguar CPU cores could well be a leveller.
As for when we'll find out, the heavy odds are currently on an initial reveal of both consoles in March to coincide with the Games Developer Conference, or GDC, and on-sale dates towards the end of this year.

TOKYO - Gempa Bumi yang terjadi di Tohoku Jepang dua tahun lalu menimbulkan efek besar yang terasa hingga di tepi luar angkasa. Ilmuwan mengatakan, tremor Magnitude 9.0 pada 11 Maret 2011 mengirimkan gelombang suara melalui atmosfer hingga tertangkap satelit Goce.
Dilansir BBC, Senin (11/3/2013), melalui satelit luar angkasa tersebut, instrumentasi super sensitif mampu mendeteksi adanya gangguan. Sistem satelit dapat menangkap gelombang yang melewati gumpalan tipis hingga ketinggian 255 kilometer di atas Bumi.
Observasi ini dilaporkan dalam jurnal Geophysical Research Letters. Telah lama diakui bahwa gempa besar akan menghasilkan gelombang akustik yang sangat rendah frekuensi atau infrasonik.
Gelombang suara infrasonik ini merupakan jenis gemuruh yang mendalam pada frekuensi di bawah kemampuan telinga manusia. Namun, tidak satupun pesawat luar angkasa atau satelit yang dapat menangkap gelombang tersebut hingga kini.
Rune Floberghagen dari European Space Agency (Esa), mengatakan bahwa mereka telah mencari sinyal ini sebelum satelit lainnya. Ia pikir itu karena Anda memerlukan alat yang sangat baik.
Ia mengatakan, akselerometer Goce memiliki ratusan kali lipat lebih sensitif ketimbang instrumentasi sebelumnya. Tujuan utama diluncurkannya satelit Goce ialah untuk memetakan perbedaan yang sangat halus dalam tarikan gravitasi di permukaan Bumi. Tarikan tersebut disebabkan oleh distribusi yang tidak merata dari massa di dalam planet.

Dalam meracik game terbaru, EA Sports berfokus pada tiga aspek, inovasi, umpan balik, dan memoles. Demikian dilansir dari Softpedia, Rabu (13/3/2013).

Memoles dan umpan balik pemain selalu menjadi inti dari pengalaman game FIFA, akan tetapi perusahaan
mulai memahami kebutuhan akan permainan yang meminta evolusi permainan daripada revolusi.
Produser Eksekutif di FIFA Game, David Rutter mengatakan, "Bagian akhir ialah inovasi, yang paling menyenangkan, ketika datang dengan hal-hal baru, di mana pemain tidak mengantisipasinya."

- Dante tampaknya memiliki keahlian dalam memainkan musik, salah satunya adalah musik rock. Hal ini diperlihatkan saat memainkan devil arms nevan.

- Hampir di setiap game. Dante selalu tertusuk pedangnya sendiri, ia pernah ditusuk Trish dengan pedang Force Edge ( Devil may Cry ), serta ditusuk oleh vergil dan nero dengan memakai pedang Rebellion ( Devil may Cry 3 ) dan ( Devil may Cry 4 ).








Trivias of Old Vergil
- Dilihat dari senjata dan gaya bertarung dan juga elemennya, Vergil tampak mirip dengan Mitsunarhi Ishida dari Sengoku Basara 3











Travias of New Dante
- Tambahan bendera inggris ( Union Jack ) pada lengan jaket dante ditampilkan oleh Ninja Theory untuk menunjukan bahwa mereka adalah developer yang berbasis di UK.

- Para fans Devil may Cry memberikan julukan bagi dante yang baru seperti 'New Dante', 'DmC Dante' hingga 'DINO'. Singkatan dari 'Dante In Name Only'.

- Walau mempunyai persamaan sifat dengan vergil versi sebelumnya, namun Vergil dalam DmC tampaknya tidak 'Haus' akan kekuatan.

Kecanggihan PS 4

Awalnya sony tidak akan memproduksi lagi generasi penerus Playstation 3, sebelum umur PS 3 mencapai 10 tahun. Tapi, karena saingan sony sudah bergerak apa mau kata, sony pun kini siap untuk melanjutkan generasi penerusnya, yakni Playstation 4 atau PS4.


Sebenarnya PS3 adalah konsol yang luar biasa, setelah diluncurkan pada 11 november 2006. Grafis yang sangat keren dari PS3 memikat hati para gamers. Namun sony tidak mau kalah dan ingin mengalahkan para pesaingnya dan ingin berkibar di jagat game sedunia. Dan lahirlah PS4 ini.

PS4 akan segera diluncurkan dengan fitur layaknya PC dengan hard-drive berkapasitas 1,5 Tera Byte. Kita bisa menyimpan banyak game favorit dengan HD sebanyak itu. Ketika PS4 tidak dimainkan dan power-nya mati secara otomatis dan dihidupkan kembali, posisi game saat ditinggalkan akan tetap sama. Fitur ini awalnya hanya dimiliki oleh PC.

Kelebihan lain dari PS4 adalah kemempuannya menampilkan grafis tiga dimensi dengan 3D Blu-ray, Port HDMI, Clound Saving, DPConnect Bravia Sync, dan masih banyak lagi. Rumor mengatakan bahwa PS4 adalah konsol terakhir yang diproduksi oleh Sony. Nantinya bersama microsoft mereka akan membuat konsol game yang sangat dahsyat.

Berita tentang peluncuran PS4 masih simpanh siur tapi yang pasti konsol keren ini akan menggebrak pada tahun depan.

Seseorang memiliki hobinya masing - masing, salah satu nya adalah bermain game. Jika sudah dibilang hobi tentunya kegiatan tersebut tidak lepas dari kebiasaan sehari - hari. Jangan bangga jika kamu dibilang ' Hardcore' game lupa makan, lupa mandi, lupa tidur. Saya lebih heran dengan seorang mahasiswa yang bangga menceritakan kalau kuliahnya hancur karena bermain DotA di warnet.

Get A Life ... ambil sisi positif dari game untuk refreshing atau sekedar mencari ide. Kalau sudah mengganggu aktifitas yang lain atau bahkan merusak kesehatan apa ada yang masih bisa dibanggain. Ada waktunya dimana waktu bermain game lebih sedikit daripada aktifitas - aktifitas yang lain. Tapi post ini gua buat untuk mereka yang sekarang sakit - sakitan karena begadang bermain game. RASAIN !!

Blizzard dan Valve memperebutkan nama DoTA

DoTA alias Defense of The Ancient adalah mod keren yang dibuat oleh fans Warcraft 3, mod tersebut tidak bisa dijalankan tanpa aplikasi Warcraft 3.
Betapa kerennya mod tersebut membuat valve ingin membuat generasi berikutnya dari game tersebut. Akhirnya terciptalah game baru yakni DoTA 2. Blizzard pun tak mau kalah dan menciptakan game yang sama yakni bernama Blizzard DoTA. Dan inilah perang terkonyol antara dua raksasa pencipta game. Blizzard yang tidak mau kalah, menggugat bahwa valve telah memperebutkan nama DoTA dari mereka. Blizzard berfikir bahwa mod keren bernama DoTA tidak bisa dimainkan tanpa aplikasi Warcraft 3 yang dibuat oleh Blizzard. Itulah mengapa Blizzard yakin akan menag gugatan ini. LOL

Devil may Cry = ( Almost ) Resident Evil

Tahukah kalian bahwa Devil may Cry adalah produk Resident Evil yang gagal. Awalnya pihak Capcom menyuruh Creative Director dari jepang untuk membua sequel Resident Evil 4, namun formula yang ia buat melenceng jauh dari apa yang diharapkan. Tapi, uniknya pihak Capcom tidak membatalkan proyek tersebut dan malah menamainya sebagai game baru yakni Devil may Cry pertama.

A Secret From Youtube Buffering


I'm sure everyone knows see public sites specifically for video, namely youtube.com, and I'm sure everyone has access to this site, right?



But sometimes - sometimes we feel irritated when we were watching a video, there is a circle that spins (buffering),
but beyond that circle, there is a secret that probably everyone already knows that, at the circular buffering sign up, circle can be used as a game, though not a fun game, but at least it can take off upset while waiting for the video that we watched finished buffering, how? Here's how to change that annoying circle into a little game - scale.

At circle appears, press any key on the keyboard direction, for example press the down direction (down), then the circle will turn into a snake. If you do not believe please just try.
